You can write any genre of fiction on Wattpad and you can enter writing competitions and challenges other than the sci-fi genre. Competitions on Wattpad are a great way to get you in the mood to write. It will help you to write more and you will eventually get better at writing.

This month, in April 2019, there was an Alien sci-fi short story competition where you had to write 1000 words about an alien friend in fictional sci-fi short story.

March 2019 SciFi Competition
The March 2019 competition was a success. It was a short story competition based on Office Day. There were first, second and third winners. Check them out below.
The first prize winner was a Day at the Office.
The second prize was Glitches.
The third prize was Nepalm Keys.
